30 students successfully completed the 2024 session of the "Production Internship Program" at Norm Cement Plant and closing ceremony of the program took place at the plant recently.

Representatives from Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and the Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovation participated in the ceremony.

During the event, interns and distinguished guests, including Hazi Gasimov, Head of the Internship Department at Baku Engineering University; Khalida Humbatova, Deputy Director for Education at the Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovation; Leyla Nazirzade, Head of the Internship Organization Department at Azerbaijan State University of Economics; Rashid Rajab, Associate Professor at Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University; and Zumrud Huseynova, an expert in experience at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, delivered speeches.

Approximately 400 final-year students applied to the program announced last November, with about 100 proceeding to the interview-based competition stage. 30 students successfully completed all stages and had the opportunity to intern at the Norm Cement plant for a duration ranging from one to three months, depending on their specialties. Additionally, 7 students who successfully completed the "Basics of HSE and Ecology" training program, jointly organized with the Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovations, were able to undertake their practice at the plant from February to June of this year.
